Authenticity
Whether an Original Art piece or a Prompted Art edition, each work released by P. Tremblay is documented through a clear system of identification, provenance and authenticity.
A unique artwork ID
Every artwork released by P. Tremblay receives a unique identification number recorded in the studio archive.
This identifier connects the work to its certificate and permanent studio record.
Personally signed
Original Art
Original Art works are unique physical pieces and are signed by P. Tremblay.
Prompted Art
Every physical Prompted Art edition is personally inspected and signed before shipment.
Certificate of Authenticity
Every work is accompanied by a certificate recording its essential information.
Recorded in the studio archive
Every released work is recorded in the P. Tremblay studio archive with its artwork ID, title, year, medium, dimensions and edition information.
Limited means limited
Edition sizes are defined before release and are not expanded after the fact.
Limited edition
When a Prompted Art work is released as an edition of 7, only seven numbered physical editions of that artwork will be offered. Once the edition is complete, it is permanently closed.
One-of-one
When a Prompted Art work is released as a one-of-one, the artwork is permanently retired from sale after acquisition.
Always 1/1
Original Art works are unique physical pieces created directly by P. Tremblay. No second original exists.
Each work is signed, issued with a certificate, assigned an artwork ID and recorded in the studio archive.
Controlled physical editions
Prompted Art works are conceived and developed through artistic direction and generative AI, then released as physical works in clearly defined editions.
Each physical edition is inspected, signed, numbered and documented by P. Tremblay before shipment.
A recurring gold accent forms part of the visual language of the Prompted Art works, but it is not used as proof of authenticity.
A hidden collector’s mark
Every Prompted Art work contains a concealed 777 embedded within the composition. Its location is never disclosed.
The mark is not used as a public-facing logo. It exists as a private detail connecting the work to the broader Prompted Art practice.
Verifying a P. Tremblay work
A genuine work should include the following elements where applicable.
